Snapplify joins first cohort of Mastercard Foundation’s edtech incubator program

We are proud to announce that iHub Kenya has selected Snapplify as one of 12 Edtech companies to form part of the Edtech Fellowship Program sponsored by the Mastercard Foundation.

iHub Kenya partnered with the Mastercard Foundation under the Ed-Tech Fellowship Program to launch an accelerator program aimed at supporting EdTech startups in Kenya over the next three years.

Upon selection, the 12 companies will have access to product development, government relation support, and initial funding. The partnership aims to address longstanding educational challenges that have affected the availability and quality of education across Africa. iHub remains committed to using technology and innovation to increase prosperity on the continent which is perfectly aligned with Snapplify’s intent to create equal learning opportunities for all via the largest digital educational marketplace in Africa.

Support from initiatives like the Edtech Fellowship Program allows us to drive our commitment to enhancing the standard of education in Africa and to establish a leading position in the digital educational technology sector within five years. To achieve this, we intend to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government bodies, educators, students, and other industry players, to build strong and durable ecosystems. Our main aim is to offer top-of-the-line digital education resources to all African students, enabling them to realize their full potential and emerge as competent global leaders.

“Selection of Snapplify by iHub to be part of the first cohort of the Edtech Fellowship Program is a confirmation that Snapplify’s technology and its continuous innovation of digital Education solutions is of massive support to Education strides Africa is making. We are extremely glad to be part of this, as we envisage for more collaborations, not just with other Edtech companies in Kenya but also with Governments, both in Kenya and Africa.
