Cape Town, South Africa – 3 November 2025
Access to quality educational content remains one of the most critical challenges across Africa — and it’s what drives our work at Snapplify. With this mission in mind, we’re honoured to share that an innovation focused on educational access has been selected as one of three finalists in the Innovation Competition at Ambition Africa 2025, taking place 18–19 November in Paris.
A decisive competition with high stakes
The Innovation Competition, organised by Business France under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic, identifies the most innovative African SMEs with the potential to scale globally. The competition spans six rigorous selection stages and culminates in a live pitch in Paris on 18 November, where the three finalists will present their solutions for continental and international impact.
Being selected is a recognition of both innovation and meaningful educational impact — a clear signal that tools designed for African classrooms can lead globally.
Why our mission resonates
Across Africa, millions of learners still face barriers to accessing curriculum-aligned content, reliable learning tools, and inclusive education experiences. Our platform responds directly to these challenges by:
- Providing curriculum-aligned resources at scale through a digital library which won the UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize for advancing mother-tongue literacy.
 - Offering Book Buddy, an AI-powered companion that supports comprehension, accessibility, and independent learning — especially in overcrowded or under-resourced classrooms. Book Buddy was recently honoured by the African Union at Africa Skills Week for addressing learning gaps in high-ratio classrooms
 - Partnering with education departments, schools and universities to embed access into real teaching and learning.

What’s ahead in Paris
At Ambition Africa 2025, we’ll join high-level conversations on access, inclusion, and the future of education across Africa and Europe, present our solution live to a jury of international partners and decision-makers and explore partnership and investment opportunities to support growth and deepen reach.
Let’s connect
If your institution – whether a school, university, or education department – is exploring how to expand digital access and improve learning outcomes, we’d love to talk.
